Post ASL exam delivery

Sat exam yesterday in Melbourne and thought the experience was colourful to say the least.. .. .5 of us ready to enter the room before the published 'meeting time', not commencement time of 8:30am. Door opens and we are met with a verbal barrage of demands much like you would expect from Bruce Ruxton in his military heyday.. .. .One poor guy turns up 10 minutes late, gets accused for not having read his information form and then gets told 'you pilot types who don't read your forms, it's you guys that cause accidents like the one that killed those three doctors'.. .. .So not a good start, and for those already nervous the shakes were getting worse by the minute.. .. .Next we all try to log on but guess what, the server is down in Canberra, and guess what again -it was a holiday in Canberra yesterday!. .. .Anyway 'hitler' then filled us in with the news that he could do nothing about it, and it could take all day if we were lucky for the exams to come through, but who were we to complain as he had been up preparing since 6am.. .. .By this stage it was asked why an IT person was not present to supervise and would it not be an obvious requirement? It was also asked why paper backup exams are not planned for?. .. .By this time it was also blatently suggested that we as the paying candidates should be treated as customers rather than unworthy subordinates.. .. .So we then get started as the system comes back on 1.5 hours late. The cherry on the cake was to then have 'Hitler' taking mobile phone calls while we are trying to concentrate. . .. .It was no suprise that there were at least three fails at the end of the sitting.. .. .Be warned.
