If you consider the R5,5M paid in advance, that is HUGE! The sponsors must have been given a real yarn to pay that upfront! The service delivery has also been zero.
I have to ask myself what bonedome promised to justify the upfront payment. Aviation needs sponsors who are keen to reinvest in further aviation projects for the good of us all. My concern here is that a potentially good sponsor has most likely been burnt and aviation and all of us will suffer as a result.
