Also the First Home owners grant is available to any permanent resident who hasn't owned a property here. That includes, among others, New Zealanders, Americans, Canadians, Brits, Indonesians, Mongolians, Belorussians, Martians, Singaporeans, Japanese, Irish, Scandanavians, Fijians, Bhutanese, Venezualans.
Overall - remember that all these things you are whinging about have been alloowed by your government - so complain to them.
I do suggest that both of you see a doctor about the serious case of brain farts you both seem to posess.
