Well, Dan, I used to take mine to the servicing place in London and it came back in about a week.
It was the 'while you wait' so-called Breitling servicing that I was being warned about. The 2-3 days including power soak and pressure test sounds OK though.
Was the unlucky mate who had the non-waterproof watch a chap with more than one Breitling, perhaps....
