Aeroplanes is fer flying. Don't waste time starting/pushback. Be engines running at holding point, taxi on and away you go. Sounds like you know just fine what to do. The secret is gently at all times, no jerks at all, and a positive slow gentle pull to raise the nose above 12 degrees for take off. When in a steady state, trim, trim, and trim again. Start with touch and goes, don't rush yourself, do a bit of high speed/high altitude, back for a couple of ILS approaches and go arounds, maybe even an engine out on go around, by which time your underarm deodorant will have failed completely.
