Little is said on the Forums about this airline in the former Portuguese enclave, but it is run by a little Mafia of Portuguese trying to save their faces to the shareholders and the Board of Directors, WHATEVER IT TAKES. EVEN PUTTING AT RISK THE LIVES OF THEIR PILOTS AND THEIR PILOTS FAMILIES. Captain V.S. you have a lot to answer for.One Captain after coughing and spluttering through his flights ( shortage of pilots, but don’t tell the CEO and the Shareholders), was flying until it nearly killed him. He had TUBERCULOSIS. So what was done? This Captain was taken out of the country for treatment and positive testing. It then occurred to Captain V.S. that maybe maybe he had better test the last FOs who had flown with this man. After repeated urging by the Company Doctor. They, tested positive. So IN ORDER NOT TO UPSET THE SHAREHOLDERS AND THE CEO, they decided .... better not test any more , in case they test positive, otherwise maybe our heads will roll, because we will have to ground them. Then we will have to cancel flights and then we might loose our jobs. **** the pilots .. **** their families. Sooo this went on .... no further tests. The Company Doctor tearing his hair out trying to get Captain V.S to take some action.This was in July. Now the 6th October, everyone is getting tested, and yes guess what -- they are testing positive. This of course does not mean that they have the disease but............pilots are being grounded. Instead of action being taken, this selfish man was looking after his own A@*E!!!
Apart from a few co-pilots who will hang on to grim death (literally) to get a command there will be a mass exodus from this Airline, although maybe there won`t be if the BOARD OF DIRECTORS and CEO kick out the responsible people and for once appreciate who the true workers were. Fortunately I left there, this shocking news has come from a pal of mine who has decided that getting a command is not all it should be. So for those of you considering Air Macau, and yes there will be plenty of jobs soon. Suggest you take your own supply of Masks. BCG Vaccines and shotguns so that when you have to put up with bull!!!! and the skin tests and the x-rays and the rest of the crap........ Well anyway I have said enough. I pity all you guys there working for such small creeps.
