The travel staff rate!!!
Whilst hunting for a campervan in New Zealand a couple of days ago, I happen to ask if they did an travel industry rate - reply was:
"...I am sorry we do not give any discounts for airline employees - in fact I have never understood why we should. Would I get a cheap flight to Europe with xxxx air?....."
Now, this guy is probably independent and would understand this reply, But why do we get discounts on everything these days from the usual hotels/hire cars etc too the not so usual of car/house insurance etc.????
What do the company's get out of it!???
