No one expects the SLF to be instantly aware of technical matters or the background behind decisions made by flight crew but it is frustrating to see outrageous quotes or demands from passengers after an event
I feel your pain.

But think yourself lucky. If your job was like mine, at the end of every flight they'd hand out feedback forms to the SLF asking them to rate your airmanship. And if you got less than 70% approval there'd be big trouble.

A little griping on your bulletin board is nothing.
