We discussed trying to get some photo's of the Huey parked in frame with the B-17 but that all got overtaken by events.
To suggest I would like to do a photoshoot with the B-17 and the Huey would be a mild understatement. I don't know about others...but seeing that B-17 flying and all she symbolizes makes my allergies act up....eyes get watery and I get a lump in my throat....just like when a Mustang, Spitfire, or other old warbird goes by.
I know there are lots of other guys feel the same way about the Huey as I do....it is an honor to get to fly the thing. Sometimes in your life you get to do something that has special meaning to it....this Huey project has been one of them.
