The measure used will need to be easily visible from outside the aircraft as a deterrent to theft and also to facilitate compliance checking
so, no sun screens if you have a throttle lock unless you put the following notice on the outside
AIRCRAFT ANTI-THEFT SECURITY DEVICE FITTED
and can be contacted by the gestapo.

What mightily p****es me off is that they can directly waste $106k for signage, and they subsidise regional airports 50/50 to upgrade infrastructure, but they won't subsidise aircraft owners in implementing measures to satisfy the fear-mongering **&#$ directives.

New signage will be needed at all airports, to replicate the prescribed wording and include the new penalty clause . The cost for the whole country is estimated to be of the order of $2 million The Government will be providing around 15,000 signs for airside perimeter and entrance areas at a cost of around $106,000 for newly regulated airports.
