I seem to remember that the long-haul flights Globespan were thinking about were going to be operated under a different brand name not Flyglobespan, i believe its was going to be the states as canada is well served via GSP's partnership with Air Transat.
Years ago wehn Globespan had Excalibur there were going to be longhaul flights on a DC10 to Sydney, Los Angeles and i think Jo'Burg. But Excalibur went to the wall. (i still have the brochure somewhere for the Australia flights somewhere.)
