The worst offenders on the MME-LHR service are Mr and Mrs Blair, who talked constantly throughout the safety briefing.
Their kids trashed the cream teas into the seats as a form of amusement during the flight.
If they had been flying with me, I would have handed them a dustpan and brush and told them to clean it up
In contrast to the Blairs, I had a certain UK tv presenter on a flight recently - not naming names, but he has presented the National Lottery, presented a quiz show that was centered around tv programs as well as having a popular Saturday night prime time entertainment show which used to regularly feature gunge.
This tv presenter was travelling with his family (son & daughter, the son was probably in his 30's and the daughter about 10). He was sat there happily chatting with his family, but once the safety demonstration started, he told his family to pay attention and all 3 of them sat there and watched the demonstration. Throughout the flight, this tv presenter was a model passenger, when asked if he or his family wanted anything to eat or drink, he made eye contact, smiled, said please and thank you and at the end of the flight he made sure that his family left their row clean and tidy, re-dressed the seat pockets and crossed the seat belts. I can honestly say that he and his family were a joy to look after - pity about the over 140 or so rabble
Mr & Mrs Blair you should take note!
