am I right in saying that originally it was Maxjet who said they were going to operate low-cost flights between Stansted and Newark, then Eos who were going to do Business class-only between Stansted and JFK?
Don't forget Blue Fox who planned a 767 service in 2001. That is planned in the
early part of 2001...
This offering (and it's various other non-start ups) have been debated at great length in various forums of PPRuNe. There are many imponderables and variables and no one can say if they will pull it off. There is certainly a market for such a service but can they get the market into their a/c in sufficient quantities before their cash reserves run out? I hope so as it would provide jobs and competition.
