I'm not sure an unlaunched airline could count as a 'serious" rival to FR. Come back when the fleet count is bigger than EI - say 25 NBs.
Does Desmond still have a stake in LCY? I wonder will he be looking at feeding it some traffic in the medium term which would imply Airbus (318s) as a possible fleet supplier - all very speculative though.
