It is possible to have a small bleed at the back of the eye, and never have a reoccurrence, but do monitor the situation carefully. By this I mean have the retina looked at every couple of weeks by a local eye clinic for the next while.

The CAA may want a letter from an eye surgeon or examine you themselves. Best to press on with organizing all this, cos there is a great deal of time delay where these folk are concerned.
