The quoted $350k does need putting into proper context. The senior dozen where I work are even today capable of bringing in that kind of paycheck - they do so by selling back all vacation, bidding high duty trip lines and hoovering up overtime like pigs at a trough. The biggest pull last year was $370K with no life in which to spend it because the flight deck becomes home. Only the very, very senior though are able to compete in this competition.
