Last year, aged 44, I ran the London Marathon grinding round in 5 hours 36 minutes.
Jolly pleased with this. However . . . the evening news had a good feature. A 95 year old Seikh ran round in 4 hours 30 minutes. Apparently he took up the sport a few years ago to take his mind off things after his wife died. When asked what it was like running a Marathon at his age he replied:
"It gets harder every year!'
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
