Karenmarie, I believe glasses are not looked at well (if i remember from what I saw of grooming manual) you cannot wear glasses while flying but contacts ok. So I suggest dont wear glasses to interview (and don't think to wear them before and take them off- because I forgot!!!
)
Also I think after probationary period is over you can apply to live out and get allowance but then you have to pay all your electricity, phone etc.....
