for some people the uniform DOES make a difference. It helps them to feel 'at home' in their role. For example, how a policeman would gain a little of their confidence from their uniform perhaps??
Honestly can you say you weren't proud when you first put on your uniform???
I know some people really don't give a $%^# but a lot of them do. And besides, it's fun to see everyone's ideas on what they like the most and what they like the least... to each their own....!
I for one would not turn down the red hat if it were offered to me!
