No way there are 50 new jobs created for every new route, especially not for easyjet, and especially not in check-in, baggage handling or any other aspect of the ground handling agent's operation. I doubt there is any recruitment at all, and what there is does little more than cover all those who leave. At present the net direction of staffing levels is definitely downwards.
