Back in the day when I was a space cadet we polished our shoes, tucked our shirts in, ironed our kit and even
gasp were taught to salute officers and show respect to Junior and Senior NCO's. When did this stop being the norm? I remember being told that we were part of the air force and should act like it.
Then again this was a LONG time ago. I wonder how long it will be before we see them in hoodies
