And another thing Mr Crab . . .
why was it that the RAF spent so long at Royal NAVAL Air Station Culdrose learning how to operate the Sea King?? Nothing to do with the experience of rescues like the Orion oil rig - hovering between the legs of the sticken rig on the rocks in a gale, etc., etc?

A worth-watching-programme, nonetheless, despite the "beard"! Sadly no mention of the Lynx as probably the most versatile anti-ship/sub offensive Naval helicopter ever operated from a small ship - quite superb in that role. Certainly helps to justify it's position in top 10, IMHO!
