Don't know about a blacklist, but they do have a unique recruiting system. When I first applied many years ago I was told that I needed 1500 hours, a Bell206 endorsement and NVFR rating.
Some years later having left the Army with those qualifications, I applied again and was told that they were not recruiting.
A few years later with 5000 hours, a CIR and lots of twin command time I applied again and was told that I needed 500 hours offshore time to be employed as a captain. I asked for an interview for a co-pilot position and finally got one.
Eight weeks after the interview they told me that my application was unsuccessful. They declined to comment on the reasons.
It has taken me a while, but I think I've finally got the message and won't be applying for the Victoria jobs.
If you do get an interview be aware that they put a great deal of emphasis on the IQ and psych tests. Come to think of it I may have been salivating at the time...it's the lithium you know hahahaha.
