Autostitch is the best software I've seen for creating panoramic shots. The Canon software just blurs one shot into the next whereas Autostitch takes care of sorting out the perspective and makes an amazing job of lining things up. The only snag is a slight loss in sharpness, something to do with the guassian filter, apparently..
