A330's will leave

B777 and B787 are the go.

From reliable internal source, watch the official announcement in 2 weeks

2 weeks ain't the timeline I've heard, particularly when it doesn't get taken to the board until October. Boeing said last week it won't even start getting real serious with negotiations for another 2 or so weeks.
Common wisdom seems to suggest a formal announcement around Nov 16(QF's 85th birthday bash).
A330s may leave, 763s will for sure and you would hope 743s would as well. I don't think you can find many takers for a 340/350 combo and all the good money seems to be on the 777/787.
Have heard that there is now more emphasis on the 772LR than the 773ER and "hub-busting" is becoming a very popular term at the QF inner-sanctum(even if they don't know what it means).
The other issue seems to be whether they will order 787-3s for domestic and Trans-Tasman routes with the longer range 787s or just go with the longer range versions and misuse them on the short haul routes.
