I was wondering on a forum on Caravelle why they didn't make noses like that anymore. I had forgotten the Boeing Dreamliner.
Very elegant aircraft altogether.
I think it's Reginald Mitchell, the genius that designed the Spitfire --And the Mosquito-- who said once something like "an ugly plane will fly, but a beautiful plane will fly beautifully".
But no cockpit window opening????
