One of our Captains kindly popped over to Ops post flight with his paperwork and related the following.........
He had just done a fairly heavy landing (his words not mine!) in to LGW. As he taxied off towards the stands he got on the PA and said........
"Ladies and Gentlemen......Welcome to Gatwick........where the runway is a lot higher than I remembered it ! "
