Just a bit more information on the Simulator phase. Its mainly looked at as a bit of fun by most people. Having said that, you can still fail, so if you get through stage 3, dont drink
too heavily before stage 4

Obviously people will get through stage 3 with varying levels of expertise, and so the Sim is based at roughly your level (so if you havent even flown before, dont worry too much about how to approach an ILS etc, it will all be explained).
Basically the instructors at looking at how you cope with a bit of pressure in an environment you will find yourself in. Can you cope, and more importantly if you can, can you show improvement. Once you get there... Enjoy it. And Good Luck.
