CASH BONUS PAYMENT
This morning Qantas announced a A$1,000 cash bonus for eligible employees in recognition of their contribution during the 2004/05 financial year.

The bonus will be paid from this week to employees who meet the following criteria:

Must be employed by Qantas or a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Must have joined the Qantas Group before 1 January 2005.
Must be a permanent or temporary (fixed-term) full-time or part-time employee. Casual employees that have worked at least 520 hours between 1 January and 30 June 2005 will also be eligible.
Must be employed on the date of payment.

Employees that have participated in the incentive trial remain eligible for the A$1000 cash bonus this year.
