Sounds a great idea to me,surely if we can get a report from a reputable body then we can argue that if the techies cannot work for more than so many hours then neither should we.

Luckily no one was killed in the recent Toronto accident and that showed the importance of the role played by cabin crew in an evacuation and as our job is primarily safety related we need adaquate rest

The buzz word or phrase from the company is OH&S so we should throw it back to them and also maybe we can get work cover to do an audit of the work enviroment on the aircraft.They did one on the Jetbase so let's see if they will do one on the aircraft.
