I think it would be better not to muddy the waters of the CAA charges consultation by bringing the DfT consultation on non UK registered aircraft based in the UK into it. I am making my personal response to that subject too but not yet and it will then be posted here in another thread.

There is more than enough in this CAA charging consultation to occupy our thoughts for a week or two.

I fear we are stuck with the CAA and EASA here in the UK and I really cannot envisage the UK becoming the 51st state of the USA especially if we have to have a head of state like George DubbleYuh.
