F27-200/500s were the first types I flew as an airline pilot. At the time, GREAT AIRPLANES!
In retrospect... everything that could possibly malfunction did. And frequently.
Fuel issues were interesting on our fleet.
Fuel quantity indicators..... in pounds
Fuel dipsticks..................... in Imp. gallons
Fuel receipt........................ in liters
Fuel on loadsheet...............in Kgs.
Yet I never heard of an incident of misfuelled airplane. Probably covered up
