Other bright ideas I have heard of are a instructor offering a Trial Lesson voucher with his CV with 'Try before you buy' written on a note that was attached. Another was a bright spark finding out what the Chief Pilots favourite tipple was and buying a bottle of the said whisky and rolling up his CV in the bottle holder. The most cheesy one is a chap who burned a CD which was full of the Chief Pilots favourite music and a copy of his CV on the CD!
