I lost a really good buddy some years ago when his cessna came down in a tropical storm Nth of Cape York, after that experience you can never again be indifferent or flippant about an aircrash .....
In the sixteen & a half years I have been in the industry I have lost an average of one friend a year. So far this year I have lost two within two months.
