well if you look on the down under forum the latest posting from someone who said he talked to the pilots was that it was an autothrottle problem.
If and its a big if that is all the problem was then I do not understand why they elected to return instead of going on to KL.
However I seriously doubt that the autothrottle was the sole reason that they returned.
