You are right for once but for all the wrong reasons as usual !!
The base is a success because it is a flop financially and for that reason it will get rid of a few management that deserve to go.
The LHR base crew actually work less than the Aus based crew do,so your efficiency analogy is wrong again.
Finally,if you are one of the face painters(I have never seen you admit who you work for though) you will find out about efficiency when your new boss is finished with you as he tries to fight off Jetstar.What a corker !!!
I wouldn't be laughing at all if I were you,remember the wharfies dispute...who was the boss of the transport company involved then..mmmmmm his name is vaguely familiar
I can only imagine what your pay and conditions will be like in a year or so, I doubt you will have a grin on your face then..
