What on earth were those fellows doing there around an airport with the most awful weather on fumes?
I'd imagine they were attempting to land
But "fumes"? They had enough for the 160nm trip to Syracuse. I don't know what the regulations regarding contingency/delay fuel are, but that
sounds like enough to me?
