The A320 family takes-off with a flap setting of 1+F, 2 or 3! This is dependent on the field performance (i.e. TORA, ASDA etc.). Every performance page for each airport/runway states quite clearly the flap setting that the performance figures are predicated on.
That is Airbus SOP. I can't speak for GB but very much doubt that they will do anything vastly different to what Airbus recommend (if at all!).
