I flew in Lanzarote ~ 10 years ago. At the time there was nothing for Self Fly Hire, but I did find an instructor who was able to sit in the RHS for an around the island tour in his C172. Took about an hour to do, but there are
very few places for a forced landing ...
Sadly the instructor crashed into the sea a year later, and all on board died
