actually...i just fronted up 22000usd for my year in my 1 bedroom flat in AUH...(albeit in a 4-star bldg)...my old villa i rented 2.5 yrs ago in bah for 550bd, now goes for 900bd per month....yes, you do have to know the "ins and outs" when shopping for housing in BAH it can be done....but for the average gf new hire...it's a bad scene, and NO!!!!! mr VFENEXT.....after 14 yrs here btween BAH and AUH...yo767 is spot on.....
