Try knocking on doors - literally. Take along "drop off" CV data packs and as a minimum leave at reception addressed to HR or in smaller Co.'s Chief Engineer. Make sure you leave as many comms channels as possible. ie: Phone, FAX, Mobile & Email.
You can rest assurred most data packs will end up being filed in the "Too hard basket", but one or two may make it onto the correct desk at the correct time.
