I was taught BUMFFICHH
Brakes, Undercaridge, Mixture(rich) Fuel (contents, correct tank, pump on, pressure, primer in and locked) Flaps(as required) Instruments(within limits) Carb heat (20 seconds) Harneses Hatches (secure and locked)
