Don't entirely agree with the captain wandering around the cabin 5-6 times on a 7 hour something flight.
Once or twice maybe! Yes, that is good

BUT......
1. Whether we like it or not, we live in a different world. The security of that flight deck including the pilots themselves should be paramount. Why needlessly expose yourself to those that intend to do us harm? A regular routine of walking around the aircraft is doing just that.
2. We are paid to pilot an aircraft. The captain is responsible for the safety of the entire operation. How can he or she do this from the rear cabin, or whilst handing out colouring books to kids?
It's not on. Those of you in the above postings who think that it's a great thing need to wake up. We are professional aviators after all.................
