Twin Commanche is recommended but the I would like a plane from at least the '80's.
Any particular reason why? They designed the Seminole after the Twin Com factory flooded and the tooling was lost. The replacement is 10 knots slower on the same power -- ah progress...
The Twin Comanche is an excellent 2+2 twin for touring around Europe if you want economy
and a "spare" engine most of the time. Ours has GNS430, Sandel EHSI, stormscope, S-TEC a/p etc.
