Well, I do like to add that I am currently not flying at the moment, despite having significant turboprop hours.
Most companies are obviously not interested. I have applied to many turboprop operators that fly ATR's , Dash 8's etc. I was even told by a well known contracting agency that to go from Beech 1900 captain to Dash 8 f/o was too big a step!
Therefore my interest in a typerating, be it an ATR, 737 or whatsoever. I just want to be marketable.
