Logan didn't have to talk to Arann to divine their intentions re LDY, merely take note of previous RE-actions.
These routes are essentially supported by the PSO money and thus it is no surprise that Logan and Arann are swapping routes since they are swapping PSOs and Logan doesn't have unlimited aircraft (as seen by their knock back of SXL/CFN) since their new (to them) Saabs are replacing retiring ATPs.
