There are airlines obviously open to the idea of taking cadets on for a contracted period or indeed a full time job. However the reason they take cadets from these agencies is that it will hopefully reduce costs on there end, thus eliminating the cost of having to screen applicants themselves and all assosiated costs. You will of course have to do an interview with the prospective airline but sim checks and apptitude / psycology testing etc etc is taken on by the TRTO. However it does seem that its not always the case, as gecat or storm will do the Majority of the screening the likes of eaglejet do not have any screening and put cadets forward to prospective airlines who will have to screen people themselves. Nothing is in stone so there is always different paths to take and its always worth an email directly to the airline prior to buying time through the like of eaglejet just in case!! Funningly enough both eaglejet and gecat have supplied pilots to the same operator in the uk and both on different deals obviously-one significantly cheaper then the other.
