I am aware of some operations that only give details of location and not patient profile. Obviously most cases of EMS are serious incidents, but surely some accident/patient status descriptions pull at 'the heartstrings' more than others. This procedure in turn leaves it to the crew to decide whether or not to proceed with the mission, and not endanger the occupants of the aircraft, without the pressure of thought to the seriously injured awaiting the medivac. Is it purely down to $'s that this is not standard procedure for all ops?
