In the good old days long before AAB, there were several crew fired for bringing drugs into, and some for using, DOH. In fact I was on the flight from LGW/CAI, which had had enough incidents without the police arresting one of my fellow crew members as he walked through the terminal!
I do not know of the incident that you are referring to, although I do know that one crew member was jailed for another incident, then of course fired, but that was last year.
