I went a touch to far with the "justifiable ridicule" bit. I do stand by my belief that those who have a problem with this forum should air it here so we can all consider the issue and voice our opinions - whatever they may be. Thanks for the "heads up" Whrank!
My feeling on the "advertizing" issue is that any tasteful advertizing of commercial activites DIRECTLY RELATED to our industry should be encouraged. While it may be commercially operated, a magazine such as Pacific Rotors, specializing in helicopter related news, may surely be viewed as a public service to us all. I wish there were more, don't you?
SPAM is UCE or Unsolicited Commercial Email. This is a public forum and therefore all posts are by definition solicited - subject to the moderator's velvet glove, of course. You come here of your own free will and are under no obligation to read all threads. As moderator, I'm the only one who doesn't have that luxury.
As far as bullying is concerned, we are by and large blissfully spared of this ignominity. Just check some of the other forums - no need to name names.
